The TechBeyondBars: Digital Transformation for Jail Personnel project is a year-long community extension initiative of the College of Computer Studies (CCS) that aims to strengthen digital competence among personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Tipanoy, Iligan. The project is designed to support participants of varying digital skill levels. Faculty trainers are complemented by a team of Computer Science students who provide individualized technical assistance, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This approach enables jail personnel to build confidence in using digital tools, empowering them to adopt technology in their daily administrative responsibilities.
